Caitlin started agility training with Stacey with her Golden, Copper, while she was in high school (2006). She then attended Iowa state for pre-vet, and went on to become a vet tech at Premier Veterinarian hospital - She now specializes in anesthesia.
After college, she continued her training with Stacey, and has been ever since. She became a lead instructor with Hawk City K9 soon afterwards. “Many say I have a clown car with all of my dogs, and you can always hear us coming. Whether that’s competing in the agility ring or just walking down the sidewalk, we know how to make an entrance!”
“I strive to teach what Stacey has taught me: Foundation, foundation, foundation! You take the time needed for that, and you can go so far!
My dream is to be on the US Agility national team or compete at the World’s Agility Championship with one of my dogs!
I continue to train my dogs with the one who’s taught me all, Stacey Hawk”
Caitlin enjoys competing in Agility, and currently shares her life with her two BC’s, two
Tollers, and her kitty, Pica.
