I was born loving animals. As a kid, our family always had dogs, cats and even pet chickens. Growing up, in addition to spending time with my pets, I spent a lot of my free time at a nearby horse barn, helping take care of the horses so I could ride. In college, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice, planning on going to Law School.  I minored in Psychology and Animal Husbandry, and worked at a horse stable as well as the campus bars. I decided to take a short break from school after graduation, got sidetracked from school, and worked in the music industry for ten years.

I thoroughly enjoyed training and spending social time with my dog and other dog people, and realized that I needed something different to do.
I discovered agility in 1996, became hooked on training, competing and instructing others, and have never looked back! In 2010, I discovered K9 Nosework, and added that to my passion and lifestyle.

I strive to bring my life-long love and passion for animals together with positive motivational reward based training, to provide a training experience that is fun and enjoyable for both you and your dog.

My training philosophy focuses on developing and strengthening communication, the relationship and the bond between people and their dogs. I strive for a fun learning experience for both dogs and their people.

I have experience working with all ages and breeds of dogs, as well as all types of people, from first time pet guardians, to experienced, accomplished sports competitors.

I am a longtime competitor in Agility, Scent/Nosework and Dock Diving.
